Lisa has loved animals as far back as she can remember. She was brought up with dogs, and when she ventured out on her own, she rescued a cat, and another and another and has just kept rescuing. After years of volunteering with area shelters, Lisa decided to go back to school and get a diploma in the Animal health field.
Prior to graduating (June 3, 2017) from Bristol Community College with an Associate’s degree in Science, focusing on Veterinary Health Care, she spent 10 years in the animal field working. She has spent time at local animal shelters as a vaccine coordinator and as a Veterinary Technician at a low cost spay/neuter clinic.
When not working, Lisa enjoys spending time with her 5 cats, her family and her best friend, who has a German Shephard. Lisa paints portraits of animals and pencil drawings of human faces.
Lisa also loves music and helping others, especially up and coming veterinary students.
